First off, you are probably wondering why I would pick that for a title. It doesn’t make sense! Well that title is a title of a book we’re reading in school. Let me tell you something some adults don’t know, thanks to the book. You know how adults say “Grace and me are going to play” is wrong, well yes they’re right but sometimes it’s OK to say “Grace and me”. The way it works is if you have two people, you take away the other person and see if it makes sense. For example : Me and Avery are playing football . First, you would say the other person’s name first. Second, you would take one person out and see if it makes sense. Example: me are playing football. We’re not cave men, so it would be “I”. See… I was playing football or me was playing football. The one that sounds right is right. Then you say: Avery and I were playing football. Ok also there are many people who have trouble with “myself, yourself, herself and himself”. Here is how you use them. If you mentioned yourself before in the sentence, you can use the word “myself”. Example: I looked at myself in the mirror. Another reason is to emphasize something. For example: I baked a cake by myself! Only those two times you should use those words.
Here’s a fun activity: don’t say ”I” and ”me” for a day. We will keep you updated.![IMG_0429[2]](http://mswift.edublogs.org/files/2013/01/IMG_04292-1quy42z-300x225.jpg)

Hi Grace,
Great blog post! You really summarized what we learned well. That would be cool but very hard to go a full day without saying I or me.
Talk to you later,
Meg
Dear Mrs.Swift
You did a great job on the blog post!
You clearly stated how to do the method in the book.
You should do the fun challenge too!
It is going to be hard but (the person writing this)will try!
Sincerely, Your friend and student Lauren😄
I like that book!!
