Hello Mrs. Swift’s class!
My name is Sterling Sonego, but you can call me Sterling (yes, that’s my real name). I am a teacher candidate from Lakehead University. That means that I’m training to become a teacher. I will be joining your classroom on January 30, and staying with you until March 6. While I’m with you, I will be teaching some lessons and helping Mrs. Swift teach. I will also be learning as much as I can from the expert teacher, Mrs. Swift, and from all of you.
Before I arrive, I’d like to tell you a little about me. I love reading, writing, mathematics, French, science, phys-ed, music… ok, maybe I just love learning in general! I play a lot of different instruments like the saxophone and the trumpet, but my favourite instrument to play is the guitar. I also like to juggle; right now I can juggle up to four balls at a time. My favourite sport is basketball. That’s probably enough facts about me; I’m more interested in meeting you all and learning about you!
Your blog has allowed me to see some of the things you have been doing as a class and they look awesome! I’m really excited to join you all soon.

I am a girl, I like to play soccer, in gym my favorite game is dodgeball, my favorite subjects are art, gym and all subjects! we even made a blog post about 24 reasons you would like being in our class! My name is Meg (No not short for Meghan it is actually short for Margaret). I have one younger brother named Gavin. Do you have any siblings? I am so excited for you to come January 30th!
We actually have some things in common, we both like reading, writing, French and music! Last year I was in our school band and I played the flute. Outside of school I love to figure skate! In the summer I also like to play baseball. Do you do any others sports other than basketball? That is really cool that you can juggle! Maybe you can show us sometime.
